Windows doesnt like it when a drive is filled up over 75%, and can often have issues with some data not getting saved properly. Make sure you have some empty space on your HDD. This happens a LOT, and in many titles so keep an eye out for it in other titles you own too. They (cloud saves) have an extremely high corruption rate, due to data transfer to and from steam servers getting mucked up. This is a known issue with some AV scanners "active" protection and heuristics scanning.ĭo no use Steam cloud saves for Xcom 2 under any circumstances. ![]() Make sure your anti-virus has Xcom2's exe file set to ignore/whitelisted for active scanning, and its folders marked similarly. Make sure Xcom2 is not installed to a protected folder (ie program files) as windows will often cause issues for saving with game data in these directories. Some things that can help resolve this are ![]() "Lost" saves usually happens when something is amiss when you saved (ie some corruption in the data) or if the save later becomes corrupted by other means. ![]()
